A reverse sloping emitter shroud allows a bit of the angled emitter inside to show through, while its separated from the activation area by a band of antique black on the hilts neck. A simple button leads down the hilt to the main grip, which is a section of tight straight knurling assuring a great grip while dueling. As the saber angles towards its D-ring at the end of the pommel, deep V-grooves filled with the antique black coating share the section with real rubber O-rings.
