Price Range: $250+ This hilt not only functions beautifully as a double sided weapon, but also splits apart into two single hilts, each with solid encaps. The identical halves start off with emitters inspired by the DRAGNOS hilt, with long brushed aluminum shrouds covering stepped emitters inside. Behind the multiple grooves of the emitter shroud lie the hilts most unique feature, something we have never machined before: scooped elements flanking each side of the hilts. Each half of this design sports two wide and deep milled out slots that slim down the diameter only on the sides, creating a totally new detail that not only catches light perfectly, but is also very comfortable on the hands. A machined aluminum button is surrounded on two sides by twin slots milled out of body of the hilt, filled with black epoxy. The bodies of the sabers take very subtle curves, to fit the hands perfectly, with multiple thin grooves filled with blue epoxy in the satin finish. In single-saber mode, each hilt features a large rounded pommel pierced with an aluminum D-ring. When the hilts are connected together, they are affixed to an intermediary section that lengthens the double sided saber to over 24" long |
